Scottish Property Network (SPN) was set up in 1996 as a joint venture between Scottish Enterprise and the University of Paisley to promote better market intelligence in Scotland's commercial and industrial real estate markets.
SPN soon established itself as the most comprehensive online source of information on available commercial and business accommodation throughout the whole of Scotland, used widely by the main public and private sector organisations active in commercial estate agency and economic development.
In 2004, SPN was acquired by FOCUS Information Limited, the leading provider of commercial property information in the UK and, through FOCUS, became part of the US based CoStar Group Inc., the world's largest provider of on-line Real Estate information.
This significant acquisition has enabled SPN to develop and enhance the provision of information on Scottish commercial property markets, as well as promote its services as an agent-to-agent marketing vehicle for available properties.
The company employs approximately 16 staff, including 11 researchers who maintain regular contact with over 900 property agents, continually monitoring available properties and deals to ensure the information YOU get is accurate, relevant, comprehensive and up-to-date.
